Apostolic Protestant Church (APC), sees Bible as the sole authority in all matters of faith and practice, the doctrinal foundation for us is found only in the Word of God.
We believe that the Bible, in the original writings, to be the verbally inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed. As a result, they represent the final authority for faith and life.
The seventy-eight books of the Bible which are read since the beginning of the Christian Church are the complete and divine revelation of God to people.
People don’t have the right or authority to remove any books from the Bible. Luther thought Apocryphal Books shouldn’t be a part of the Bible but didn’t dare to remove them. This was done approximately 300 years later.
Removal of some books from the Christian Bible by Main Stream Protestant Denominations in 1826 is a big sin. In 1826, the National Bible Society of Scotland petitioned the British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS) not to print the Apocrypha, resulting in a decision that no BFBS funds were to pay for printing any Apocryphal books anywhere. They reasoned that not printing the Apocrypha within the Bible would prove to be less costly to produce. Since that time most modern editions of the Bible and reprintings of the King James Bible omit the Apocrypha section.
What does the removal of some books from the Bible mean? This means; God make a mistake and it took 1800 years to realize and fix that mistake!
Or God just let this happen! And by doing this, God let millions of Christians to follow false and empty beliefs, liturgy and practices! He let Christianity to develop on false books and knowledege! What type of a Christian may believe it?
Apostolic Protestants believe in a single God whose name is Yahweh who manifested himself in different ways; The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, “one in essence and undivided”. The Holy Trinity is three hypostases, who share one divine essence (ousia). The source of the Holy Trinity is the Father, from whom Son and Holy Spirit is born. From God the Father Son is begotten and also from whom the Spirit proceeds. Thus, the Father is the ground of unity of the Trinity.
Apostolic Protestants believe the “priesthood of all believers” an dmean it. As long as you know that the modern translations of Tanach (Old Testament) is wrong and the modern church interpretations are done to fit the Word of God to modern political and cultural order and as long as you prepare your sermons by applying to different sources including Jewish, anyone can lead a liturgy. Besides, it is mandatory for all believers to study Word of God.And if everyone knows what s/he is talking about, s/he can pastor the others. And yes, even women can be pastors. If they were made prophets, who we are to forbid them. If someone says “Paul’s letters” we tell them to search the debate regarding the verse from different denominations.
Apostolic Protestants belive that salvation is not by faith alone but it also requires works.
“14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.” James 2:14-26
Apostolic Protestants believe that The Old Testament is old only in means of the liturgical system and the laws regarding the Jewish State but the social law still applies.
“17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-20
